About Chinta Air
Chinta Air is an air charter company in South Australia. Aircraft are based at Ceduna, at Rawnsley Park Station (on the South side of Wilpena Pound in the Flinders Ranges), and Adelaide, all year round. During the winter months, an aircraft is based at Nullarbor Roadhouse.
From all bases, Chinta Air provides aircraft and pilots for both scenic flights and air charter. Air charter includes:

aerial photography (still and motion);
survey flights (environmental or property);
aerial spotting (fish, fauna, fire, and flood);
and search & rescue operations.
Aircraft include twin engine and single engine aircraft. For more details on the aircraft, please click here.
Chinta Air are licenced by the Civil Aviation Safety Authority, and licenced to operate within National Parks.
Chinta Air were awarded a bronze medal in the Tour & Transport Operators (less than 15 employees) category at the 2016 SATIC Tourism Awards. Chinta Air are a finalist in the 2017 awards.
We are happy to look after all your travel arrangements to allow you to focus on your work, or relax into your holiday.
Chinta Air employ pilots that are trained to the highest standards. All hold an Australian Commercial Pilot Licence, a Class One Medical Certificate, and are trained specifically on Chinta Air aircraft. Each pilot is tested regularly on their skills to ensure they are current and confident. Our pilots are happy to act as tour guides, and point out scenic highlights along the way.
Chinta Air aims to provide a stress free experience, from the first contact to the last farewell by combining a dedicated team of staff with meticulously maintained and presented aircraft.
