Maralinga – Full Day
From 1955 to 1963 the British Government built a township at Maralinga (approximately 300kms NW of Ceduna) and tested nuclear weapons nearby. All branches of British, Australian and New Zealand armed services were represented.
Now, for the first time, enjoy a full day tour to see this amazing location to see the township, and the test site. Learn the unbelievable history of this secret period in Australia’s past.
From Nullarbor, fly direct to Maralinga for a 4WD tour with a knowledgeable, local guide to learn more about one of the darkest times in Australia’s history. After lunch, depart Maralinga and fly across the remote Nullarbor to see the spectacular Bunda Cliffs. Enjoy afternoon tea at the Nullarbor Roadhouse.
