2019 Southern Right Whales

24 April 2019

The Great Australian Bight Marine Park lies on the edge of South Australia’s Nullarbor, and is a significant nursery for Southern Right Whales. Each winter, the Whales gather in the Marine Park to give birth, to socialise, and to breed. Whales are seen in the Park from late May to early October. Last year, there were 182 whales in the Park.

There are so many options to see Southern Right Whales on South Australia’s Far West Coast, including flying over the Whales, a boat cruise, and for the truly adventurous, the opportunity to go kayaking with the Whales.

Check all the options here, and make your booking now!
