The three day / two night tour departs from Adelaide and includes:
- Day One: Meet at the GA Terminal at Adelaide for a flight from Adelaide over Wilpena Pound to the Arkaroola Wilderness Sanctuary.
- Transfer to the Sanctuary, for lunch.
- Spend the afternoon on Arkaroola’s signature tour – the Ridgetop Tour. This includes visiting the Northern part of the Sanctuary on tracks so steep that only Arkaroola guides are permitted to drive them.
- Dinner (from menu), bed and breakfast at the Arkaroola Wilderness Sanctuary.
- Day Two: After breakfast, transfer to the airstrip for a flight over the Northern Flinders Ranges to the Cooper Creek. Then follow the Cooper Creek for lunch at the renowned Innamincka Hotel.
- Lunch from menu at the Innamincka Hotel, with a choice of tea / coffee, water / juice / soft drinks.
- After lunch, reboard the aircraft to fly over the Coongie Lakes for Birdsville.
- A sunset tour to Big Red, on the edge of the Simpson Desert.
- Dinner, and bed at the Birdsville Hotel.
- Breakfast at the Birdsville Bakery.
- Fly South, following the Diamantina River over Goyder’s Lagoon, then follow the Warburton Creek down the full length of Kati Thanda / Lake Eyre.
- Lunch from menu at the Marree Hotel, with a choice of tea / coffee, water / juice / soft drinks.
- After lunch, re-board the aircraft for a flight back To Adelaide.
