Wilpena Pound scenic flights – child’s rate

A Wilpena Pound scenic flight is the best way to appreciate the true majesty of Wilpena Pound, and Ikara / the Flinders Ranges National Park. When seen from the air, the crumpled folds of the landscape reveal hidden valleys and waterholes.

From 10 June, 2020, children aged 3 years to 13 years will travel at a discount of 50% when flying with two adults. Flights are operated by Chinta Air, and depart from Rawnsley Park Station (on the South side of Wilpena Pound).

Every passenger gets a window seat, and a headset to hear the pilot’s informative commentary, which will highlight the points of interest you are flying over.

This will allow the whole family to enjoy the living geology lesson that is the Flinders Ranges.

PSSST: For those who wish to explore further afield, children aged 3 – 13 years are eligible for a discount on our Arkaroola Adventure tour (Minimum Discount – $110 per child).

Terms & Conditions are:
Discount applies to scenic flights (20 minutes / 30 minutes / 45 minutes / 60 minutes) from Rawnsley Park Station (on the South side of Wilpena Pound).
Children must be travelling with two full fare paying adults.
Discount applies to a maximum of 4 children.
Children must be aged 3 years to 13 years.
Children aged less than 3 years fly for FREE,
Flights can be paid for by Visa / Mastercard / EFTPOS or cash. There are no additional fees for using a card.
Guests do not have to be staying at Rawnsley Park Station to fly with Chinta Air.
Bookings essential.
